Ruqayyah is a qualified lawyer specialising in banking and finance, corporate-commercial law, and capital markets. She provides comprehensive legal advisory services to a diverse range of clients, including those in the oil and gas sector. Her expertise spans conventional and Islamic finance, where she has advised financial institutions—particularly Islamic banks and windows—on the structuring, development, and implementation of Shariah-compliant products.
Ruqayyah has experience in drafting and reviewing complex commercial agreements and supporting clients through various corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, liquidations, and corporate compliance matters. She also regularly advises on employment and tenancy law issues.
In addition to her transactional and advisory practice, Ruqayyah represents clients in litigation matters before the Primary Courts of Oman and the Public Prosecution.
